I started this blog in 2018 from a rented apartment with one sofa and a lot of opinions about paint colors. Eight years, one little blue house and too many houseplants later, here we are.
By day I work in marketing for a nonprofit. By night and weekends I paint walls, hunt thrift stores and test every morning routine on the internet so you don’t have to. Everything here is budget-friendly, honest and tried in my own home.
My husband Dan builds most of the shelves. Our dog Pickles supervises. Thank you for being here — it’s the best part of my week.
