ABOUT ME
We’re Sam and Maya. We sold most of our stuff, bought an old van and have driven 61,000 miles of two-lane roads since.
We met at a gas station in New Mexico — both lost, both too proud to ask for directions. Three years later we sold most of our things, bought a 1990s camper van and drove away from our apartment in Denver.
Since then we’ve driven 61,000 miles through 38 states and 29 national parks. Maya designs websites from the passenger seat; Sam writes and keeps the van running, mostly.
Two Lanes is our honest travel journal: real itineraries, real budgets and the mistakes we made so you don’t have to. Thanks for riding along.
