ABOUT US

Furniture made slowly, in the Blue Ridge

FROM OUR WORKSHOP

Oak & Ember began in a converted mill on the French Broad River, where a woodworker and a potter shared a kiln, a lumber rack and a belief that homes deserve real things.

Today our small team of makers builds every table, chair and shelf in that same workshop. We buy hardwood from managed forests within 200 miles and finish each piece by hand.
