Ten years of design, seven on Upwork, 214 finished jobs.
I started freelancing on Upwork in 2016 with a one-page site for a dog groomer. She still sends me Christmas cards.
Today I take three clients at a time — bakeries, law firms, yoga studios, realtors — and build each one a site they can run themselves. Every client gets a Friday update, a live preview link and a recorded walkthrough at launch.
HOW I THINK
A small business website has one job: turn a curious visitor into a booked call. Everything else is decoration.Asmallbusinesswebsitehasonejob:turnacuriousvisitorintoabookedcall.Everythingelseisdecoration.
