Novelist, teacher and lifelong reader of small-town stories.
I grew up in a harbor town where everyone knew everyone’s business — perfect training for a novelist.
I have published three novels and a story collection, teach a community workshop called Finishing the Book and visit schools and bookshops across New England. I write in the mornings, walk in the afternoons and read everything.
