Description
If you are new to plants, start here. The snake plant stands tall with stiff, sword-shaped leaves edged in gold. It is happy in a bright room but tolerates low light, and it prefers to be left alone between drinks.

Care
Light: low to bright indirect light. Water: only when the soil is completely dry, about every 2–4 weeks, less in winter. Pets: not pet-safe. It can upset a pet’s stomach if chewed.
