Each pearl is a few young leaves and a bud rolled by hand, then layered with fresh jasmine flowers over several nights until the scent settles into the leaf. In hot water the pearls slowly open, and the cup turns pale gold and sweetly floral.

Brewing
Use 6 to 8 pearls per 8 oz of water at 175°F, never boiling. Steep 2 to 3 minutes, then add a little more time for each refill. Keep the tin tightly closed to protect the fragrance.
