Size guide
Print & frame sizes
Print sizes are the paper size, including a 1 in white border on fine art prints. Framed sizes add the mat and frame. As a rule, art over a sofa should be about two thirds the width of the sofa.
| Size | Image area | Framed size | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8x10 | 6x8 | 12x14 | Shelves, desks, small walls |
| 12x16 | 10x14 | 16x20 | Hallways, kitchens, pairs |
| 18x24 | 16x22 | 22x28 | Bedrooms, above a dresser |
| 24x36 | 22x34 | 28x40 | Above a sofa or bed |
- Hanging height
Hang art so its center sits 57 in from the floor, or 8 to 10 in above the top of a sofa or headboard.
- Wall width
Measure your wall or furniture with painter's tape before choosing a size. Tape the outline on the wall to preview it.

We had these frames made for our prints because store-bought frames never fit quite right. They are milled from solid white oak with a slim 3/4 in profile and a natural matte finish.
A white acid-free mat gives your print breathing room, and shatter-resistant acrylic keeps it safe in busy homes. The back opens with turn buttons, so swapping art takes seconds.
Details
- Solid white oak, 3/4 in profile
- Acid-free white mat, 2 to 3 in wide
- Shatter-resistant acrylic glazing
- Hanging wire and wall bumpers included
Care
Dust with a dry cloth. Clean acrylic with a damp microfiber cloth only.
