Most small stoves have two settings: off and jet engine. The Alpine has a wide valve that turns down to a gentle simmer, so you can cook pancakes as well as boil water.
Folding pot supports fit everything from a narrow mug to a 2-liter pot, and the piezo igniter lights on the first click.
Pair it with a small skillet and a water jug on the picnic table, and camp breakfast is sorted.
